Lost Arrow Studios, LLC — North Conway, New Hampshire

Software that runs
on your device.
Not ours.

We build AI-powered mobile applications for iPhone that are private by design, powerful by default, and honest about what they do.

Built at
the edge.

Lost Arrow Studios is an independent mobile software studio founded in North Conway, New Hampshire. We make AI-powered applications for iPhone that run entirely on your device — no cloud, no accounts, no compromise.

"The future of AI isn't in a data center somewhere. It's in your pocket."

The studio takes its name from the Lost Arrow Spire in Yosemite Valley — a technical climb that demands precision, commitment, and clarity of purpose. We apply those same principles to software. Every product we ship does one thing exceptionally well, respects the user's intelligence, and handles their data with the same care we'd want for our own.

We are a single-founder LLC, which means every decision about what to build, how to build it, and what to charge for it is made by a person who uses the software themselves. No investors. No growth-at-all-costs mandate. Just well-crafted tools that earn their place on your phone.

Philosophy

Three things we
believe about software.

Privacy by Architecture

Privacy policies are promises. Architecture is proof. We build apps where your data cannot leave your device — not because we pinky-swear it won't, but because the code makes it structurally impossible. No server means no server breach.

Offline by Default

An app that requires a constant internet connection is an app you don't fully own. Our software works on a plane, in the mountains, anywhere. You paid for your device. You paid for your subscription. It should work.

Honest Pricing

One price. All features. No dark patterns, no artificial limits designed to push you to a higher tier, no per-session credits. We charge what the software is worth and we trust you to decide if it's worth it.

Edge Computing

Software that runs
at the edge.

Every Lost Arrow Studios application is designed to run on your device — not in a datacenter somewhere. This isn't just a privacy decision. It's an architectural philosophy with real environmental consequences.

Cloud-based AI applications route every user interaction through remote servers that run continuously, consume enormous amounts of electricity, and require millions of gallons of water annually for cooling. That infrastructure expands every time a new app chooses the easy path of cloud inference.

We choose the harder path. Our software runs on the device you already own and carry. No server processes your queries. No datacenter cools your requests. No power grid beyond the battery in your pocket.

"The most sustainable server is the one you don't spin up."

Your data stays

Every Lost Arrow Studios application is architected so that your personal data never leaves your device during normal use. This isn't a marketing claim — it's a technical constraint we build in from day one.
